Our Queen’s Program is a ten bed residence dedicated to providing long term residential treatment for developmentally delayed / dual diagnosed boys and girls aged 13 to 18, in a home-like atmosphere. This program is committed to providing a highly structured and consistent environment to ensure maximum stability. These youth may transition to fully-supported living arrangements or semi independence following their placement at Pioneer.
Lang Program supports eight girls, age 12 to 18, with a wide range of backgrounds, primarily developmental challenges, mental health issues, behavioural challenges, dual diagnoses, learning disabilities, parent child conflict/ adoption breakdown, minor physical challenges, and abuse issues. The program is committed to holistic treatment of children, to support physical, emotional and social health. All programs are highly structured and behaviour modification programs are set up to target behaviour and personal goals.
Our Albert Program supports ten boys who require coaching, motivation and instruction from care providers. Youth are assisted to further life skills and acquire new skills for independent, semi-independent, fully supported living arrangements, or returning home. Serving as the transition to adult living, treatment is focused on youth internalizing the effects of their behaviour through use of natural consequences and accountability.
